About the Chef

Inspired by the meals his grandmothers and mother made from scratch, David Ina always gravitated towards making innovative food from fresh ingredients. He grew up working in his father’s restaurant and knew at a young age he wanted to have his own place.   He went off to Sullivan University in Louisville, Kentucky and earned a degree in culinary arts.  He also received a hospitality management degree from The Ohio State University. David loves feeding people and he loves sharing the food of his heritage.  At Zaytoon, David’s two passions have joined into one.
